InterCP is a non-denominational, overseas mission organization whose vision is for the rapid evangelization of unreached people groups living in the 10/40 Window and Eurasian continent. 90% of the poorest people and more than 95% of unreached people groups live within those regions. However, 95% of missionaries serve and 98% of missions funding goes towards already-evangelized nations. In response, InterCP’s ministry focuses on reaching the unreached by actively serving in the Middle East, more specifically in: the Arab region, Central Asia, the Asia Minor, Persia, the Caucasus region, Northern Africa, Western China, Southeast Asia and Mongol-Siberia.
As of 2016, InterCP has sent approximately 1,150 long-term missionaries and over 1,000 student missionaries to unreached nations. In addition, 1,500 volunteer staff members in over 90 branches throughout South Korea, North America, Europe and other parts of the world are serving locally and globally through short-term mission trips, campus ministry, mission education, mission mobilization and support, area studies, project development and missionary re-education.
Because unreached nations are difficult to evangelize through traditional mission methods, InterCP is devoted to developing and carrying out innovative tent-making ministries for discipleship and organic church planting. These ministries include: student volunteer missions, mercy missions, business missions, social development, education and other NGO-type ministries.
InterCP overcomes persecution in creative-approach areas by faith; we labor for the localization of the Gospel through organic church planting. In order to ensure that established local churches on the mission field can stand firm, we focus our efforts on biblical training and discipleship. Through prayer, InterCP engages in intercession and spiritual warfare, and encourages and nurtures the use of spiritual gifts and talents for strategic team ministry.
InterCP partners with other evangelical mission organizations and churches for the overall purpose of global evangelization. We desire to mobilize the global church that will support and be co-ministers through short-term and long-term mission trips, intercession and financial support to complete the Great Commission. To help accomplish this, InterCP offers Vision School and World Mission in 30 cities in South Korea and over 30 cities in North America and abroad. Vision School is a mission education program that provides lectures with a biblical perspective of God’s vision and aids in equipping Christians with the necessary resources to serve the unreached nations. World Mission is weekly/biweekly worship and intercessory prayer gatherings that raise mission awareness about the unreached nations. InterCP also organizes annual/semi-annual Mission Camps that raise mission awareness on a larger scale.
On the day of Pentecost 2,000 years ago, the blessing promised to Abraham was ignited when God poured down his Holy Spirit. When the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit, God’s radical plan of salvation was unleashed in Jerusalem, and the Gospel spread to Antioch, Greece and Rome and to the rest of Europe, the Americas, Africa, Oceania and Asia. God will not relent until all nations and all people hear His good news. Today the frontier of the Gospel is still moving westward through Asia into the most Gospel-resistant areas of the 10/40 Window and is heading back to Jerusalem. This is the reality of God’s history.
God desires for a generation to rise up that loves Him wholeheartedly, refuses to conform to the patterns of this world, and will finally fulfill the Great Commission. With joy we go and labor in the frontier nations to bring the Gospel to the unreached because “this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come” (Matthew 24:14, NIV).
We will obey until He returns. Amen!
